Jobtailor is seeking a finance professional to manage cash flow, banking operations, and grant administration in a hands-on treasury role. You will optimize daily cash management, monitor loans, and prepare monthly and semi-annual cash flow analyses for internal stakeholders.

You will maintain relationships with lending and grant-making institutions, ensure accurate accounting closeouts, and collaborate with other departments under the guidance of the Head of Financial Engineering.

Qualifications

• At least a two-year degree in accounting and finance, and/or 3 to 5 years of comparable experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team-oriented approach.
• Knowledge of financial modeling and simulations.
• Knowledge of transaction taxation.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
• Proactive and able to make recommendations.
• Ability to facilitate meetings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Discretion and confidentiality are essential.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day cash flow and optimize daily cash management.
• Process bank transfers, cheque deposits, and electronic transmissions.
• Reconcile cash flows in treasury software and monitor loan repayment due dates.
• Prepare monthly cash-flow plans and reporting, including cash-flow analysis.
• Prepare semi-annual monitoring reports on financial income and cash position.
• Manage relationships with accounts payable and lending/grant institutions.
• Monitor grant applications, forecasts, and funds received; enter/track in software.
• Prepare loan and guarantee files, monitor repayment schedules, and seek board approval.
• Ensure financial closeout and produce dashboards for department oversight.
• Coordinate with internal departments and monitor funding schemes.
