Job summary

Energy Jobline ATTB seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead and supervise construction activities on a traveling assignment for an Advanced Technology project, including Data Center segments. The role requires coordinating production, scheduling, and safety compliance on site.

Based in Indianapolis, IN, you will manage subcontractors, review drawings, and align crews with project budgets and timelines, while ensuring quality and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years heavy civil construction experience.
• 5+ years construction management experience.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• STS certification required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan work methods, materials and schedule; update weekly schedule.
• Review project specs; coordinate with field teams and utilities to identify hazards.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams to ensure equipment and materials meet budget and schedule.
• Forecast schedules and mitigate production issues.
• Identify and resolve project risks; document activities.
• Promote safety and process controls; identify training needs.
• Supervise subcontractor production and adjust schedules as needed.

Superintendent

Are you an experienced leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality results. As a Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our construction projects. Your expertise in scheduling, coordinating, and supervising production and workforce will ensure that every task is executed seamlessly and efficiently.

Collaborate with industry experts and committed teams to ensure project compliance with contract drawings and specifications.

This is a full‑time traveling assignment supporting an Advanced Technology project, which includes our Data Center market segments.

This role is based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Responsibilities

• Plan work methods, materials, equipment needs and work schedule for assigned project work. Reviews daily work schedule with direct reports and updates weekly schedule from project feedback.
• Review and understands the project specifications to support job set up activities. Works with work crews, field engineers and local utility companies to identify hazardous areas on job site.
• Coordinate with internal equipment team and external vendors to ensure that project work is equipped with appropriate equipment and material quantities to complete production within assigned budget and schedule.
• Forecast the work schedule to identify possible issues and provides technical or scheduling recommendations to mitigate production issues.
• Provide technical input to identify and resolve project risks including construction methods, work plan and material requirements, safety and schedule activities. Documents daily activities and meeting notes using Company approved document methods.
• Support and promotes strict adherence to safety and process controls regarding operating equipment, worksite safety and documentation requirements. Responsibility includes recommending training needs identified on jobsite.
• Supervise sub‑contractor production and workforce regarding assigned project work. Recommends work schedule or work method adjustments regarding sub‑contractor activities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of heavy civil construction experience required.
• 5+ years construction management experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree a plus.
• Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Advanced knowledge of construction site equipment operation and maintenance requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of construction site safety protocols and proven ability to enforce project safety programs.
• Knowledge and understanding of local union or prevailing wage rules, if applicable.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standards and contract specific plans and specifications.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics, and fundamentals geometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
