FERCAM in Lyon (Saint-Laurent-de-Mure) is looking for a Transport Forwarder to join our Freight Management International department. You will manage bookings from loading to delivery, negotiate with suppliers, and help expand our supplier network while ensuring efficient transport operations.

Qualifications include a High School diploma, some experience preferred, strong English, and good knowledge of Microsoft Office; other languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required or equivalent.
• Previous experience in transport is preferred but not required.
• Good command of the English language.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).

Responsabilités

• Managing loading/unloading bookings from start to finish.
• Negotiating with suppliers to optimise cost and service.
• Searching for and expanding the supplier network.
• Organising and managing transport operations end-to-end (sale to delivery).
• Managing portals for booking loading/unloading operations.

Transport Forwarder

Responsabilities:

• Managing loading/ unloading bookings
• Negotiating with suppliers
• Searching for and expanding the supplier network
• Organizing and managing transport operations (entire process from sale to delivery)
• Managing portals for booking loading and unloading operations

Requirements:

• Minimum education level: High School diploma
• Previous experience in the sector is preferred but not required
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package
• Good English knowledge, other languages will be considered a plus
