Airbus is seeking a Tooling Project Coordinator based in Toulouse to join the Maintenance Engineering department. You will manage tooling projects, CAPEX/OPEX, and coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering, logistics, and stations to ensure tooling readiness for the A320 family.

The role requires project management skills, familiarity with tooling processes, and good English. You will interact with Customer Lines across Hamburg, Mobile and Tianjin to align tooling strategies and operations.

Qualifications

• Project management skills; LBIP knowledge would be a plus.
• Understanding of tooling processes would be a plus.
• Proactive and initiative-driven; solution-oriented.
• Team player with adaptability and strong communications.
• Ability to read technical documentation (assembly drawings, standards).
• English: Intermediate (reading, speaking, writing).

Responsabilités

• Responsible for tooling creation and/or acquisition projects.
• Manage the Customer Line's tooling strategy.
• Oversee CAPEX and OPEX budgets (GSE rental).
• Prepare and lead Tooling Review Committees (CRO).
• Oversee metrology within tooling stores.
• Track tooling distribution and returns.
• Respond to production disruptions related to tooling.
• Improve tooling inventory reliability; express requirements via pre-CRO.
• Handle tooling loan requests and ensure proper returns.
• Manage tooling movements related to maintenance, scrapping, or freezing.
• Conduct regular field audits to ensure proper tooling configuration.
• Serve as tooling point of contact between Customer Lines in Hamburg, Mobile, and Tianjin.
