Job summary

Simonin, based in Montlebon, is seeking an apprentice Export Quantity Surveyor / Technical Sales Representative to learn how to analyze technical files, take-off quantities and support costing for timber construction projects.

You will work with the export and design teams, develop technical and commercial offers, and gain experience in meetings with clients and partners while learning SIMONIN products and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bac+3 minimum in wood construction, building or technical studies.
• BTS SCBH or equivalent training in wood.
• Good knowledge of blueprint reading and timber construction techniques.
• Cadwork software proficiency appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Analyze technical files and calls for tenders.
• Carry out measurements, quantity take-offs and participate in project costing.
• Contribute to development of technical and commercial offers (quotes, reports, plans).
• Participate in consultations with suppliers and partners.
• Communicate with design office, production and works teams to ensure feasibility and monitoring.
• Participate in client meetings, technical meetings and business follow-up.
• Develop knowledge of timber construction techniques, SIMONIN products and current regulations.
