Full-range supplier of solid wood products and innovative mass timber solutions. Besides its original headquarters in Fügen, Austria, binderholz operates 60 other sites. Some 6,000 employees at Austrian, German, British, Latvian, Finnish and US sites share their passion for wood. At binderholz, 100 % of the renewable raw material wood are utilised. The products are exported around the world. The Binderholz Bausysteme GmbH is producing and distributing binderholz CLT BBS and offers integrated solutions for timber construction projects. For our further development within the UK market, we are seeking a key individual with a strong technical knowledge of solid wood projects. For this position the employer is the Binderholz Bausysteme GmbH, based in Hallein, Austria.

Responsibilities

• Independent development of structural concepts and overall structural design for international timber engineering projects.
• Key role in an internal project team.
• Project processing in a team with other departments involved, such as process engineering & project management.
• Coordination with clients and external planners.

Profile / Qualifications

• Technical degree, e.g. engineering degree.
• Several years of experience in timber engineering or comparable.
• Profound knowledge of common structural analysis programs.
• Good English language skills.
• Strong communication skills. Working in an independent, responsible & team-oriented manner.
