Job summary

Medpace seeks Medical Directors to provide medical, scientific and strategic leadership for clinical trials. You will act as internal medical expert, review and interpret results for Clinical Study Reports, and contribute to study design and project plans.

Responsibilities include medical management of trials, safety oversight, and collaboration with sponsors, with up to 20% travel. Hybrid work flexibility is offered. MD or equivalent and prior clinical trial experience are required.

Qualifications

• MD degree or equivalent; board certification and licensure preferred.
• Prior clinical trial research experience required.
• Experience in pharmaceutical-related clinical research preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical management and expertise for clinical trials.
• Contribute medical expertise to study reports, regulatory documents, and manuscripts.
• Manage safety issues in clinical trials and work with associates in evaluation of trials.
• Participate in new business development through proposals and sponsor meetings.
• Coordinate with other departments across all study phases, including feasibility, design, medical information, and editing of medical documents.
• Lead adherence to research-related protocols and policies.
