Action Against Hunger France is seeking a Seine-Saint-Denis territorial project manager to promote influence strategy and ensure project delivery in Montreuil. You will coordinate with the Ile-de-France base team and partners to implement actions within the intervention area.

The role requires a Master’s degree and at least four years of project management experience in France, with strong skills in data analysis, participatory methods, and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

  • You hold a Master’s degree in political science, local development, project management or coordination, public policy or related field.
  • At least four years of professional experience in project management, primarily in France, in social action, food security, or monitoring and evaluation.
  • Proven experience coordinating multi-stakeholder projects with local authorities, government agencies, and partners.
  • Strong ability in needs assessment, data collection, analysis, and data valorization.

Responsabilités

  • Manage projects within your intervention area in line with the mission's influence strategy in France.

  • Define projects and framing activities in coordination with ACF teams and partners.

  • Develop communication and advocacy materials for the projects.
  • Supervise the apprentice assistant and organize recruitment/skills development.
  • Advise and provide technical support to teams.

Mission

The Seine-Saint-Denis (SSD) territorial project manager contributes to the influence strategy in Ile-de-France and ensures the implementation of projects

More specifically, your tasks will be to:
  • Manage projects within your area of intervention in line with the mission's influence strategy in France.
  • Monitor and analyze the context, needs, and stakeholders within your area of intervention in conjunction with the field coordinator and the Ile-de-France base team.
  • Participate in defining projects and framing activities, including partner support activities, in coordination with the relevant ACF teams and partners.
  • Define projects and framing activities, including partner support activities, in coordination with the relevant ACF teams, and identify project change objectives.
  • Ensure the implementation of projects in the area of intervention, in line with the influence strategy of the French mission.
  • Implement and ensure the quality of project activities and monitoring and evaluation, in accordance with ACF standards and the intervention strategy of the French mission.
  • Develop the appropriate and necessary tools, protocols, and methodologies for the deployment of activities, in collaboration with the various stakeholders involved and in conjunction with the ACF coordination team.
  • Facilitate or co-facilitate collaborative work frameworks and/or governance dynamics related to project deployment, in conjunction with the field coordinator.
  • Develop the necessary communication and advocacy materials and tools for the projects, in collaboration with the relevant teams and partners.
  • Ensure the documentation, reporting, and dissemination of projects within the intervention area.
  • Ensure reporting of field activities and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Contribute to the drafting of advocacy briefs for national advocacy.
  • Ensure the documentation and participate in the internal and external dissemination and promotion of tools, reports, and results produced (external interventions, website, communication with partners, etc.) in conjunction with the field coordinator.

Profile

You hold a Master's degree (Bac+5) in one of the following fields: political science, local and territorial development, project management or coordination, public policy, public affairs, social design, or a related field.

You have at least four years of professional experience in project management, primarily in France, in the areas of social action, food security, combating food insecurity, access to rights, or monitoring and evaluation.

You have proven experience coordinating multi-stakeholder projects involving local authorities, government agencies, associations, and other local partners.

You are proficient in needs assessment, data collection, analysis, and data valorization methods.

You have the ability to design and facilitate participatory workshops, drawing on collective intelligence and popular education methods. Your in-depth knowledge of the associative and institutional landscape of Seine-Saint-Denis is a significant asset.

You have the ability to build consensus and work effectively in a team. You are recognized for your creativity, proactive approach and your ability to work in complex environments.

Employment conditions

Status: Integrated Manager - Fixed-term contract - Full-time

Location: Montreuil

Salary: €37,000 to €41,000 gross per year over 13 months depending on experience, Seniority bonus after 3 years at headquarters

  • 25 days of paid leave per year and 21 days of RTT (reduced working time)
