Job summary

UNIVITY is seeking a Telecom Payload IVVQ engineer to join the Toulouse office. You will lead integration, verification, validation and qualification for Flatsat and regenerative telecom payloads with onboard processing, active antennas, and optical links.

You will translate requirements into test procedures, configure RF/digital benches, verify OBP hardware/software and support AIT campaigns, with strong focus on test automation and data analysis in a bilingual environment.

Qualifications

Master’s level qualification in telecommunications, electronics, signal processing or equivalent.
Minimum of five years of experience in telecom, RF or digital system testing, integration or development.
Strong understanding of digital communications and hands-on lab instrumentation experience.
Programming skills for test automation and data analysis.

Responsibilities

Translate payload and system requirements into test procedures, acceptance criteria and verification evidence.
Configure and operate RF and digital test benches, traffic generators and link emulators.
Verify OBP hardware and software functionality and end-to-end performance (throughput, latency, error rates).
Support RF performance testing (beamforming, calibration, EIRP, G/T, EVM).
Test OBP–OISL interfaces and link establishment, loss and recovery with optical terminal.
Assist Payload EGSE definition and procurement for satellite AIT.
Automate tests and data analysis, investigate anomalies, produce test reports.
