Karavela recrute un Technicien·ne d’Études Cliniques pour participer à la collecte de données MRI dans nos centres en France et à l’étranger. Vous aiderez au recrutement et au screening des participants, coordonnerez leurs visites et serez l’un des principaux représentants de Karavela lors des sessions d’imagerie.

Vous travaillez au sein de l’équipe de collecte de données, en collaboration avec l’assistant de recherche clinique, le physicien MRI, les ingénieurs et les centres partenaires.

Qualifications

• Diplôme en recherche clinique ou domaine connexe requis.
• Expérience avec des participants en recherche clinique souhaitée.
• Bonnes compétences organisationnelles et grande rigueur.
• Maîtrise du français à l’oral et à l’écrit.

Responsabilités

• Participer à la collecte de données MRI et au recrutement des participants.
• Qualifier et dépister les participants, coordonner leurs visites.
• Représenter Karavela sur les sites d’imagerie avec professionnalisme.
• Travailler en étroite collaboration avec l’assistant de recherche clinique, le physicien MRI et les centres partenaires.

Description du poste

Context

Karavela is a neuroscience research company established in 2025 and currently based in Paris, France. We build a foundation model of the human brain relying on next-generation magnetic resonance imaging. To do so, Karavela is collecting a very large MRI dataset from healthy volunteers listening to naturalistic stimuli such as audiobooks, podcasts and radio programmes. This dataset is then used to train deep learning models that can reconstruct the stimuli from recorded brain activity. The goal is to leverage the representations learnt by these models in downstream applications, in particular by providing biomarkers for neurological and psychiatric diseases in clinical trials. Karavela is currently organised into 3 teams focusing on data acquisition, model development and clinical applications.

Position summary

Karavela is scaling the collection of its MRI dataset across several imaging centres in France and abroad. We are looking for a Technicien·ne d’Études Cliniques (TEC) to participate in the data collection process. This is a hands‑on, participant-facing role. You will help recruit and screen participants, coordinate their visits, and be one of the main Karavela representatives running experiments at our imaging centres. You will work within the data collection team, in close collaboration with our clinical research associate, MRI physicist, engineers, MRI technologists and partner imaging centres.

Qualifications

• a degree in clinical research, life sciences, neuroscience, psychology, health sciences or a related field;
• experience working with participants in clinical research;
• excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail;
• ability to speak French fluently in order to interact with participants and clinical teams;
