Une société de biotechnologie recherche un TECHNICIEN DE RECHERCHE PRECLINIQUE à Montpellier. Vous serez responsable des études précliniques in vivo chez les rongeurs et de l'optimisation des outils expérimentaux. Un diplôme en expérimentation animale est requis ainsi qu'une rigueur et un bon esprit d'équipe. La maîtrise du français est indispensable et des compétences en anglais sont un atout.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

Overview

TECHNICIEN DE RECHERCHE PRECLINIQUE / PRECLINICAL RESEARCH TECHNICIAN APP F/M role at Sensorion. Join to apply for the mentioned position within Sensorion's in-vivo studies team, focusing on the R&D platform for targeted and innovative treatments for inner ear pathologies.

Responsibilities

• In vivo preclinical studies in rodents (rat, mouse, WT and transgenics): pharmacological studies in deafness models
• Administration of drug candidates, sample collection and preparation
• Experimental measurements, data extraction and preliminary analysis
• Optimization of the experimental tools of the in vivo platform and implementation of new equipment and techniques
• Participation in histology and molecular biology analyses
• Participation in the general operation of the laboratory: purchasing, platform setup and installation, hygiene and safety, involvement in the quality assurance system

Qualifications

• Level 2 diploma in animal experimentation required. Authorization for experimental surgery (rodents) and experience in transgenics would be a plus
• Mastery of experimental techniques on small animals: handling and restraint, administration (injections, gavage), anesthesia, minor surgery, behavioral tests, blood, organ and tissue sampling
• Experience with experimental audiometry (ABR/DPOAE), startle measurements would be a plus
• Knowledge in histology or molecular biology is highly appreciated; familiarity with GLP and QA systems, rigorous maintenance of laboratory notebooks; strong teamwork
• Rigor, autonomy, responsiveness and adaptability; good written and oral communication
• Excellent expression in French (written, read, spoken) desired; English skills a plus
