Within the Data Department, you will join the Data Engineering vertical and report to our Data Director. Your mission will be to co‑lead a Feature Team (FT) alongside a Product Owner. Your team's mission is to provide the best Data Products (Analytics and AI) to your users while ensuring the lowest possible service cost.
In the midst of organizational and digital transformation, Accor is adopting an Agile culture and the DevOps technical requirements of major players (Amazon, Google). Our technical ecosystem has evolved significantly in recent years and is now based primarily on market‑leading Cloud/SaaS solutions (Snowflake, Tableau, AWS), integrating the best of open source (dbt, airflow, etc.).
Within the Data department, the Data Engineering vertical works closely with our Product, Data Managers, Data Analysts, Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Scrum Masters teams.
As a technical advisor and guarantor of “quality/performance,” your job will be to manage the people involved in developing and improving data products.
As Tech Lead, you will be responsible for:
As a graduate of an engineering school or with a specialized master's degree, you have at least five years of significant experience in data and previous managerial experience.
Your enjoyment of teamwork and excellent communication skills make you a natural team leader.
You are therefore genuinely keen to develop and manage a technical team, supervise service providers, and provide technical leadership for our Data Engineering community.
With technical expertise in Snowflake or other modern data platforms (e.g., BigQuery), you are committed to:
