Job summary

PGS Group in Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray, France, is seeking a hands-on supervisor to lead a production team in a busy multimerchandise center. You will ensure operations run to plan, meet quality standards, and satisfy customer expectations in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise a team of agents and agency staff, perform daily quality pallet audits, promote a culture of mutual respect, and ensure compliance with safety, procedures, and company rules.

What are your duties?

In compliance with quality procedures, deadlines, and safety regulations, your missions are as follows:

• Ensure that operational domains are carried out according to plans, meeting the required quality standards and customer expectations.
• Supervise a team of agents and agency staff on a daily basis.
• Conduct daily quality audits on pallets to ensure compliance with LPR specifications.
• Lead by example to promote a culture of mutual respect among team members.
• Maintain effective communication within the management team.
• Engage all staff in the success of the operation through ongoing feedback and positive communication.
• Ensure that operational procedures and company standards are consistently followed.
• Ensure full compliance with the company's legal and safety requirements.
• Quickly and appropriately escalated issues beyond your level of authority.
• Act in accordance with the company's values in all tasks and responsibilities.
• Undertake any other reasonable tasks required by the company.
• Participate in training and development activities related to personal growth and business needs.

Who are we looking for?

• Previous experience working in a manual production environment.
• Experience in team management.
• Languages: English, possibly other foreign languages.
• Ensures compliance with the PGS Code of Conduct as well as relevant standards and legislation.
