Qualifications

• CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course or Master of Taxation preferred.
• 5+ years of public accounting experience with a tax specialty.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian tax issues and GAAP requirements for tax provisions.
• Excellent attention to detail and client service mindset.

Responsabilités

• Review personal tax, review and compilation engagements and ensure all tax matters are addressed before filing.
• Provide daily guidance, coaching and development of firm staff with respect to tax knowledge.
• Research tax issues and prepare memoranda.
• Participate in special tax engagements.
• Provide client tax planning services.
• Prepare and present technical sessions to firm staff.
• Provide attentive client service and identify opportunities for added value.
