Our work is guided by clear values: building technologies with real-world impact, pursuing excellence in everything we do, setting ambitious goals, and taking on the hardest technical challenges. We operate in a demanding environment where rigor, ownership, and execution are expected.

About The Role

As a Talent Sourcer at Harmattan AI, you will own proactive talent discovery and pipeline generation across engineering, manufacturing, and other critical functions.

You will work closely with Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements, map target talent pools, and engage high-potential candidates - often in highly competitive or security-sensitive markets.

Responsibilities
Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Building
  • Proactively source candidates for priority roles across engineering, manufacturing, and corporate functions using LinkedIn, GitHub, referrals, databases, and direct outreach.
  • Build and maintain high‑quality talent pipelines aligned with hiring forecasts and quarterly priorities.
  • Conduct market and competitor mapping for critical roles and future hiring needs.
Candidate Outreach & Engagement
  • Craft targeted, high-signal outreach messages adapted to seniority and technical background.
  • Engage passive candidates and assess high-level fit before handoff to recruiters.
  • Maintain a strong candidate experience during early engagement.
Partnership with Recruiters
  • Work in close collaboration with Talent Acquisition Partners to understand role context, hiring urgency, and quality bar.
  • Deliver shortlists that meet agreed criteria (skills, seniority, location, eligibility).
  • Iterate sourcing strategies based on recruiter and hiring manager feedback.
Process & Data Discipline
  • Maintain clean and accurate data in the ATS (Ashby).
  • Track sourcing activity and conversion metrics (response rates, interview pass‑through).
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of sourcing strategies, tools, and templates.
Candidate Requirements
  • 2–5 years of experience in talent sourcing, research, or recruitment (in-house or agency).
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational discipline.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with recruiters and stakeholders.
  • Strong sourcing mindset; creative, rigorous, and unafraid to reach out.
  • Experience with Ashby or similar ATS is a plus.
  • Adaptability & mobility: thrives under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; embraces a "no-task-is-too-small" mentality.
  • Communication & influence: excellent written and verbal communication, capable of leading diverse principals – from junior members to senior executives.
  • Commitment: 100% dedication to Harmattan AI’s mission, vision, and ambitious growth plans, ready to go the extra mile to ensure operational excellence.

We look forward to hearing how you can help shape the future of autonomous defense systems at Harmattan AI.
