As part of our value proposition, we offerTravel Management Outsourcing services, a new solution to clients. We identify and provide our clients with the support they need to meet their travel objectives. In that sense, we support them on all travel related areas, from strategic roadmap definition to day-to-day operations.

As an Outsourced Global Travel Manager, you will be responsible for managing the scope of services agreed with the client. You will therefore be involved in a very active project management role with a close cooperation with our client’s internal teams and suppliers. In that sense, you will be accountable on the Customer’s Corporation objectives.

Scope & Objectives

As Outsourced Global Travel Manager for one of our key clients, you will be in charge of the following activities, which may involve in the mid/long term.

Strategy, Governance and Team Management
  • You closely work with the internal client Travel Management and Procurement teams to drive travel program strategy and goal setting
  • You collaborate with client’s teams, program management & agency operations teams in order to implement recommendations
  • You have the opportunity to join steering committee meetings
  • You are the main point of contact with suppliers regarding travel management (regular updates, business reviews)
Operational Travel Management
  • You are leading secure awareness and communications of Travel Policy
  • You support leadership but also support and coach the country travel managers within the region
  • You are the dedicated interlocutor for day to day traveler questions and guidance
Project Management
  • You liaise with suppliers and travel agency for implementations as well as ongoing adoption initiatives
  • You are the point of contact with suppliers on product development requirements and day-to-day supplier manager
  • You work with local travel people to support local implementations
  • You set up optimal tool settings
Change & Demand Management
  • You contribute to offline/online process awareness and training
  • You ensure traveller engagement to increase online adoption and generate expected savings
    Reporting
    • You provide key stakeholders across all markets with relevant reporting material
    • You participate in improving existing reporting
    • You closely monitor KPI set and follow-ups, including traveler satisfaction
    • You monitor effectiveness of travel policy and drive regular update projects
    Optimization Management
    • You create strong network to influence stakeholders with relevant reporting and communication material
    • You implement action plans to improve current travel program in line with client global strategy and objectives
    • You support strategic sourcing strategy
    • You assist with policy, procedure and program management development and implementation

    As part of the CWT Solutions group EMEA team, you will play a crucial role in participating in developing our consulting capabilities, innovations and deliverables.

    As necessary, regular international travel might be required.

    Qualifications
    • You have acquired a minimum 4-5 years’ experience in consulting and/or corporate travel management / other purchasing categories (Meetings & events, other indirect categories)
    • You are a strategic thinker, passionate about building and executing a program strategy within an organization
    • You are able to work in a global and multicultural environment
    • You like developing relationships and engage with all stakeholders at all levels
    • You have strong analytical skills
    • You acquired proven project management skills including the ability to deal with several conflicting priorities
    • You are proactive
    • You are fluent in English (French or any other European language is a plus)
    • You have excellent communication and presentation skills
    • You have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • You know travel processes and tools (GDS, OBTs, etc)
