Qualifications

• Essential: Excellent command of Talend within a Cloudera ecosystem, ideally Talend 8.
• Essential: Significant experience in ETL development.
• Essential: Good command of Java and Spark.
• Essential: Ability to analyze and diagnose data processing.
• Highly desirable: Cloudera / CDP, Hadoop / Big Data environment, Maven, Git / CI-CD, SQL, Java / Spring Boot.
• Highly desirable: Experience migrating or modernizing data processing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop the CORE and HOWTO reference projects, including context variables, joblets, metadata, and development patterns.
• Understand and manipulate Talend project structures (.item and .properties files, components, and attributes).
• Share best practices and support Tech Leads.
• Participate in compatibility work between Talend, Cloudera CDP, and Spark 3.
