Job summary

TMC is an international high-tech consultancy applying an Employeneurship model. We seek an experienced Systems Engineer to contribute to satellite systems design for in-orbit servicing and space missions in Toulouse, France.

The role requires a Master’s degree in aerospace or space systems and 5–8 years of space industry experience with strong requirements management and V&V skills. English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of space industry experience required.
• Strong systems engineering expertise across Electrical, Mechanical, AOCS or GNC domains.
• Experience with requirements management, technical reviews and V&V activities.
• Fluent in English and able to work in a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and development of satellite systems for in-orbit servicing and space missions.
• Define, analyze, and manage system requirements, specifications, and interfaces.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams for subsystem integration.
• Support architecture trade-offs, integration, verification, and validation activities.
• Identify risks, investigate anomalies, and contribute to problem-solving throughout development.
• Prepare and review technical documentation and participate in design reviews.

• Contribute to the design and development of satellite systems for in-orbit servicing and space missions.
• Define, analyze, and manage system requirements, specifications, and technical interfaces.

|WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Space Systems Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in the space industry, ideally in satellite or spacecraft development.
• Strong systems engineering experience, with expertise in at least one of the following domains: Electrical, Mechanical, AOCS, or GNC.
• Good understanding of satellite architectures, subsystem interfaces, and system integration processes.
• Experience in requirements management, technical reviews, and verification and validation activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
