Your Impact

You ensure supply chain compliance by implementing the requirements of the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act and other relevant EU / international regulations in close coordination with the compliance department.

You manage EU REACH compliance modules, with oversight of SVHC and Waste Framework Directive (WFD) requirements through an external service provider. This includes data integration, SCIP submissions, and support for related compliance obligations such as PFAS, Conflict Minerals, and other evolving regulatory obligations.

You lead supply chain sustainability projects and actively contribute to initiatives that promote a sustainable supply chain and a culture of continuous improvement within procurement.

You optimize processes and ensure compliance by aligning procurement activities with legal and ethical standards, while improving and automating workflows and systems, and collaborating across departments and engaging stakeholders by acting as the key contact for supply chain sustainability topics in procurement, supporting global initiatives, and fostering alignment between brand and corporate functions.

You directly engage with applicable suppliers to ensure adherence to relevant supply chain sustainability regulations and provide support in sourcing data from SQL Server databases, including writing basic to moderately complex queries. Demonstrate understanding of data flows across multiple environments and systems.

Your Experience and Qualifications

Completed bachelor's degree in business administration, industrial engineering, environmental sciences, or a comparable field; certifications in sustainability or compliance are a plus.

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in sustainability and compliance within procurement or supply chain, ideally in an international context.

Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication and documentation abilities, familiarity with basic backend databases, and the capacity to collaborate successfully with both internal and external stakeholders.

Proven experience engaging directly with suppliers to ensure compliance with supply chain sustainability regulations or similar regulatory frameworks.

Fluent in German and English; additional foreign languages are an advantage, and proficiency in ERP systems like SAP, compliance tools, and MS Office, and a high level of initiative, assertiveness, intercultural competence, and willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
