Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) is seeking a data collector for Lille and surrounding areas to verify business addresses and collect geolocation data for mapping services.

You will travel locally, confirm details such as business type and address accuracy, and document findings. The role offers full training (paid), equipment provided, travel expenses covered, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and attention to detail are essential for accurately recording data.
• Fluent English (B1+) is required and basic French (A2) is recommended for field interactions.
• Basic experience with Android devices is preferred for data collection tasks.

Responsabilités

• Visit assigned addresses in Lille and surrounding areas to verify accuracy of location, business type, and other parameters.
• Record geolocation data, take notes and photographs as required, and report results to the team.
• Travel to multiple sites within the scheduled workweek (Mon-Fri, 8 hours/day).
• Attend training prior to project start; use provided equipment to complete tasks.

We collect data where automation is not possible. We count features, take pictures, make videos, record speech, and scan areas for every detail you need to make more informed decisions. Our field data collection teams are spread across Europe and North America, ready to accept new challenges.

Project Objective

The goal of the project is to collect geolocation of local businesses in Lille and surroundings in order to improve the mapping service.

The Task

The data collectors will be given specific addresses on each day that you will need to attend. On the addresses you will check the accuracy, address itself, type of business and several other parameters shared with you. Therefore we are looking for someone who likes travelling and visiting new places.

Duration

The project is ongoing and we are looking for a new person to join our team. We expect it to last at least 3 months but the project might grow.

Schedule

The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• Good physical shape (:4 hours of walking every day)
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to details
• Fluent English (B1+) and at least A2 of French
• Basic experience with Android
• Experience in data collection field is a big advantage but not required
