Colas Rail Maroc is seeking a qualified surveyor/topographer to bridge project plans and field conditions. You will support Operations and the Design Office from site setup through to final as-built documentation.

The role covers boundary, topographic, setting-out and cadastral surveys, site visits, and preparation of topographic and setting-out plans. Bac+3 to Bac+5 in surveying/geomatics or substantial construction topography experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bac +3 to +5 in surveying/geomatics or significant topography experience in construction.
• Experience with site setup, surveys and setting-out.
• Familiarity with legal and cadastral surveys is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Conduct boundary, tacheometric, altimetric, interior and setting-out surveys.
• Perform legal and cadastral surveys for land parcel demarcation and co-ownership.
• Prepare topographic and setting-out plans for infrastructure works.
• Execute project point placement on-site and maintain points through the project lifecycle.
• Provide expert advice with ongoing monitoring of geographic, topographic, legal and regulatory developments.
• Close out project files with as-built surveys and documentation (DOE).
• May supervise survey technicians or topographers; may assume dual-profile duties.

About the Role

Mission: You serve as the bridge between project plans and real-world conditions, supporting Operations and the Design Office—from site setup through to final as-built documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical surveys (boundary, tacheometric, altimetric, interior, and setting-out), as well as legal and cadastral surveys (land parcel demarcation, co-ownership).
• Perform site setup visits, identifying key features using the setting-out plan.
• Prepare topographic and setting-out plans for infrastructure works.
• Execute project point placement on-site based on execution plans and maintain these points throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide expert advice, supported by active monitoring of geographic, topographic, legal, and regulatory developments.
• Close out project files: conduct as-built surveys and produce executed works documentation (as-built plans / DOE – Dossier d’Ouvrage Exécuté).
• Supervise survey technicians or topographers, if applicable.
• May assume responsibilities of the Technical Studies Officer (dual-profile role).

Qualifications

Profile Bachelor’s degree (Bac +3 to +5) in surveying/geomatics, optionally with prior experience in Studies or Operations/Projects; OR significant experience in topography within the construction sector.
