Job summary

Sixense seeks a Survey Engineer to join our teams in Avignon. You will design, install, and maintain survey-based monitoring equipment for large infrastructure projects and deliver treated data via GIS-based software to Sixense clients.

Responsibilities include pre-installation, on-site installation, post-installation, maintenance, and operations; attending client meetings; and supporting project managers with risk assessments and documentation.

Qualifications

• Trained surveyor with an educational background in surveying.
• Experience with robotic/automated Total Stations on large infrastructure.
• Strong data manipulation skills, including Excel and basic SQL.
• Good safety awareness and procedures.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with clear communication.
• Organized, autonomous, and able to manage several projects.

YOUR MISSIONS :

Do you have experience in civil engineering, ideally in cable-supported structures or prestressing, and are you passionate about measurement and monitoring technologies?

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

• Realise the design, setup and maintenance of survey-based monitoring equipment, data collection, data reduction to minimize errors induced by site conditions utilizing statistical methods, configuration of relational database and presentation of treated data into a GIS based software for professional data export to Sixense clients in support of construction activities,
• Perform completely (design, setup, completion and reporting) the task of pre-installation, On-site installation, Post-Installation, On-site maintenance and operations:,Decommissioning and disposal
• Attends client meetings and participates in presentations as assigned,
• Provides documentation and supports Project Manager to prepare and track claims, change orders, extra work orders, risk assessments.
• Enforces the rules in accordance with all applicable regulations, policies, methods, and practices developed by the Company; Responsible for safety in the work environment
• Prepares submittals, designs, material purchases, and accurate record keeping.
• Assists in risk assessment

• Trained surveyor with an educational background in surveyingExperience working on large construction projects is an advantage.
• High level of awareness of safety and understanding of safety procedures.
