Job summary

Airbus Helicopters SAS is seeking a Surface Treatment Engineer in Marignane, France, to drive industrialization and qualification of surface treatments for rotor, transmission, and airframe components. You will work across design, production, procurement, and support services within the LMP Metallic Materials domain.

The role requires 4+ years in surface treatments, a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, and fluency in French and English. Occasional travel in Europe is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in surface treatment processes and cross-functional project management.
• Master's degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in LMP would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support surface treatment processes in series production, repair and maintenance.
• Industrialize surface treatment processes across Airbus Helicopters facilities.
• Manage and qualify new surface treatments and define design values.
• Drive transformation and resolve recurring corrosion-related issues.
• Participate in selecting surface treatments in line with design, production, quality and procurement.
• Define and manage research programs on new surface treatments compliant with REACH regulations.
