As part of strengthening our Purchasing / Supplier Validation team, we are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to monitor the quality performance of our industrial partners. You will be responsible for handling supplier quality notifications and implementing corrective actions.

This position is temporary (12 months) and based in Surgères or Mulhouse.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage and track supplier notifications (VN) in our ERP and dashboard tools (Power BI, Excel, etc.), including deviation requests.
  • Act as the main point of contact for internal departments (Engineering, Quality, Operations, etc.).
  • Collaborate with suppliers to analyze root causes, define corrective actions, and implement action plans.
  • Validate supplier action plans and ensure their follow‑up.
  • Travel to suppliers to assist with and/or validate root cause analyses, corrections, and corrective actions.
  • Manage logistics and process aspects related to parts returns.
  • Support the team with prototype validation processes (PQAP) and supplier audits.
What You’ll Bring
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.
  • Strong sense of rigor, organization, autonomy, determination, and a commitment to quality.
  • Industrial experience in an international context.
  • In‑depth knowledge of quality standards (ISO9001); familiarity with nuclear standards is a plus (KTA1401, 10CFR50 App. B, ASME NQA-1, SGAQ, etc.).
  • Technical understanding of manufacturing processes and controls in the mechanical industry.
  • Proficiency in both English and French.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills—you can build partnerships with suppliers and maintain good relationships with colleagues.
  • Ability to persuade and influence.
  • Open‑mindedness and a proactive attitude toward improvement suggestions, with a strong sense of initiative
