A leading cruise industry company is seeking a Chief Electrical Engineer in Saint-Nazaire to oversee design and supervision of high voltage systems. Responsibilities include coordinating modifications with architects and ensuring quality and safety in projects. The ideal candidate should have at least five years of experience in the cruise shipbuilding industry and hold a relevant engineering degree. As relates to electrical discipline, responsible for coordinating and updating guidelines, approvals, inspections, input to the projects from in‑house sources, site offices, architects and other consultants.
Follows developments in technology and applies that in Newbuilding projects as well as in solutions to improve the performance of the existing fleet.
Sharing of responsibilities related to systems and areas will be separately agreed for each project.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on the scope of the project.
