Job summary

Pasqal, a leader in quantum processing, seeks a business-oriented intern to support competitive intelligence and strategic decision-making. You will map the quantum ecosystem across countries, monitor industry developments, and craft strategic notes on global dynamics, including potential M&A considerations.

You will combine engineering and business insights, using tools like Excel, Power BI/Tableau to analyze data, with strong English and French fluency.

Qualifications

• Must hold a double degree in Engineering and Business.
• Strong financial analysis and corporate finance abilities.
• Familiarity with tech markets (hardware + software).
• Basic knowledge of quantum computing market.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; programming basics welcome.

Responsibilities

• Map the quantum ecosystem of various countries and develop country strategies.
• Monitor a regular quantum ecosystem newsletter.
• Prepare strategic notes on international competitive dynamics (M&A, etc.).
• Support ad hoc analyses like customer and competitor analyses.

Our innovative technology enables us to address use cases that are currently beyond the reach of the most powerful supercomputers; these cases can concern industrial application challenges as well as fundamental science needs. In addition to the exceptional computing power they provide, QPUs are highly energy efficient and will contribute to a significant reduction in the carbon footprint of the HPC industry.

Job Description

With being present on 3 different continents, with a high growth context, and leading neutral atom quantum computing, Pasqal needs to reinforce its competitive intelligence practice.

This internship offer aims at structuring and guiding the company's strategic decisions. In this context, the intern will notably contribute to the following missions:

• Contribute to map the quantum ecosystem of various countries and build country development strategy, including financial analysis.
• Monitor a regular quantum ecosystem newsletter.
• Elaborate quantum international competitive dynamics strategic notes.
• Ad hoc missions : potential customer analysis, competitors analysis, M&A scorecards, etc.

About You

You hold a double degree in Engineering & Business, and you are looking for an end-of-study internship. You have the following assets :

Hard skills:

• Financial Analysis, Corporate Finance.
• Knowledge of the tech market (hardware + software).
• Basic knowledge of quantum computing market.
• Excel, PowerPoint.
• Optional programming skills: VBA, SQL, python.
• Rendering tools (optional): Power BI, Tableau, dashboarding.
• English and French fluency (mandatory).
