Forvia, a sustainable mobility technology leader, seeks an Acquisition & Competitiveness Buyer based in Brieres-les-Scellés (91) / Caligny (61). You will manage purchasing inputs during acquisition and improve competitiveness of BOP/tooling for the division.

Key tasks include cost feedback analysis, negotiating cost structures, supporting global acquisitions, benchmarking gaps, and supplier optimization to enhance competitiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering or Business.
• Nice to have: Professional Purchasing Qualification
• Experience : Minimum 5 to 8 years experience including an experience in purchasing in an industrial environment
• Experience in an international environment

Responsabilités

• Analyse and provide cost feedback to the Acquisition team on various concepts intended to enhance competitiveness
• Negotiate and establish the appropriate cost structure to support the program objectives
• Contribute to Global Acquisitions, supporting the team with appropriate supplier information and costs and cooperating in deciding on a local vs. global sourcing strategy.
• Identify gap to benchmark and associated levers to achieve best landed price using cost optimization tools.
• Challenge commodity buyers to identify new suppliers if needed to support competitivity (innovative processes / low volumes / new generic products)
• Support costing function to provide best cost assumptions on not well-known technologies and carry over parts price / capacity
• Support product line with supplier offers to prepare future acquisition requirements from generic to applicative.
