Job summary

Eramet, a leading mining and metallurgical company, seeks an M&A Project Manager to support the M&A Director in executing acquisitions, partnerships and divestments. You will coordinate internal teams and external advisors, perform financial analyses and prepare presentations for investors and senior management.

The role requires a Master's in Finance or related field, 3–5 years in a similar M&A function, and fluency in French and English.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, from engineering or business school, or equivalent university degree.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Transaction Services, or within an M&A department of an international group.
• Strong proficiency in financial modelling, business valuation (DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables) and due diligence processes.
• Analytical capacities, autonomy, responsiveness, ability to work in project mode under tight deadlines and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders (Board, Executive Committee).
• Discretion and a strong sense of confidentiality are essentials.
• Fluency in both French and English required.

Responsibilities

• Act as internal project manager for M&A processes (buyer or seller) and coordinate the internal project team for each project, as well as external advisors.
• Coordinate Due Diligences and participate in risk analysis.
• Make financial analyses, modeling and valuations for potential targets or assets to be divested, with financial advisors.
• Participate in structuring transactions with financial and legal advisors.
• Prepare marketing materials and/or executive presentations for external stakeholders or internal governance bodies.
