Comand AI is hiring a BD Product Designer to translate customer conversations into tangible prototypes for senior defence and government stakeholders. You will work with business development, product design, and forward-deployed teams to rapidly prove a future capability, choosing the best medium to convey the idea.

The role demands high-quality interaction and visual design, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to make strong calls with incomplete information.

Qualifications

• Portfolio showing high-quality interaction and visual design across complex digital products.
• Experience turning ambiguous problems into prototypes that inform decisions.
• Strong command of modern product design and prototyping tools.
• Speed without sloppiness: reuse patterns or create new ones as needed.
• Clear communication with technical, commercial, and non-technical stakeholders.
• Resilience when important demos arrive on short notice.
• EU or UK citizenship (contractual requirement tied to defence contracts).

Responsabilités

• Turn emerging customer needs into convincing prototypes within days.
• Choose the fastest useful medium: polished Figma prototype, AI-assisted mock-up, interactive concept, or demo video.
• Bring design craft to rapid work so prototypes feel credible for defence/government stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business development, product design, and forward-deployed teams to define what the demonstration must prove.
• Make confident decisions under pressure, balancing conversation needs with core product patterns.
• Capture learnings from each prototype to inform future product decisions.
