Job summary

MACOM France recrute un stagiaire en matériaux semiconducteur et fabrication salle blanche pour soutenir les procédés GaAs, GaN, InP et Si dans notre site de France. Vous contribuerez au maintien des procédés, planifierez et conduirez des expériences, et participerez à l'amélioration de la qualité, du coût, du rendement et de la sécurité.

• Bonnes aptitudes à la communication écrite et orale technique.

Job Description:

Process Engineer Co-Op responsible for sustaining existing GaAs, GaN, InP, and Si processes and developing new processes in the wafer fab located in France.

Specific responsibilities include supporting the following: sustains manufacturing processes to meet all factory indicators; plans and conducts experiments to fully characterize the process throughout the development cycle; drives improvements on quality, reliability, cost, yield, process stability/capability, productivity, and safety/ergonomic over variables such as material, method, equipment, environment and operating personnel. Successful candidate develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education, statistical knowledge, and problem-solving tools.

Job Qualifications:

• Major in chemical or electrical engineering (or other relevant disciplines).


• Familiarity in compound semiconductor processes for high frequency applications.


• Specific semiconductor skills include understanding of semiconductor device physics and IC processing, data mining and statistics, SPC, DOE, Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and structured problem solving.


• Must be capable of solving technical problems, project ownership and meeting deadlines, and multitasking.


• Must display strong sense of ownership, drive and dedication to the improvement of the process area.


• The ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams to improve processes.


• Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including technical writing for summarizing data and findings, writing process and equipment specifications and work instructions.
