Burson is offering a structured internship in their Crisis & Public Affairs team in Paris. You will work with a handful of consultants to support public affairs and crisis management for diverse clients. A mandatory internship agreement applies, with hands-on experience in research, briefing notes, and stakeholder engagement.

The role emphasizes curiosity, autonomy, and collaboration, with training to develop analytical writing and political insight in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• M1/M2 or gap year in communication, public affairs, political science, international relations or business schools with a mandatory internship agreement.
• Impliqué.e, curious, autonomous, and able to work well in a team.
• Analytical and synthetic writing skills.
• Interest in political and economic news.
• Interest in French institutions and legislative processes.
• Interest in diverse sectors and missions and willingness to learn.

Responsabilités

• Conduct institutional surveillance (press, social media, institutions).
• Map stakeholders and track legislative activity.
• Prepare briefing notes and summaries for meetings with institutions or media.
• Research information and provide context and analysis notes.
• Draft crisis scenario notes and media training materials.
• Assist in crisis exercises and risk mitigation planning.
