What will be your role?

Context and Mission

Metis Arts and Development Fonds, established in 2021, supports the development of the MetisArts Fund. Metis aims to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — environment, health, education, employment, peace, gender, food, etc. — by mobilising arts as a transformative vector. Its raison d’être is to reinforce the technical approach of classic development projects through the force of art and emotion. The fund is a "messenger of emotions, bringer of transformations". Metis operates around two operational arms: action in territories and amplifying impact. The action arm is divided into two sub‑programmes:

  • Carte Blanche: Metis finances projects that bring together an artist, a development operator and a local population to create transformative moments.
  • Diapason: Metis defines a global theme linked to SDGs and finances initiatives that network artists worldwide working on the chosen topic.
The amplification arm is also divided into two sub‑programmes:
  • Donner à voir: Sharing Metis initiatives and results via social media, international coalitions, major cultural events and audiovisual production.
  • A vous d’agir: Organising training and funding mobility scholarships for artists.
Metis also seeks to mobilise a coalition of private and public actors to strengthen the impact of its mission, while progressively scaling its private fundraising strategy. In 2026, Metis will celebrate its 5th anniversary.
Role Description

    • Fundraising support
    • Monitoring, management and knowledge‑sharing of projects financed by Metis
  • 6‑month internship, starting February 2026
Qualifications
  • Higher education (Bac+4/5) in business, journalism, engineering, or similar.

  • Dynamic, autonomous, organised, enthusiastic about advancing the Metis Fund.
  • Operational English writing ability.
