About This Role

Our Information protection business is one of the highest growth units in the company. Our mission is to protect our customers from risks associated with activity and behaviour, protect against data loss across endpoints, network, and Cloud accounts, and accelerate the time it takes for companies to respond to security incidents. We are the most deployed DLP according to Gartner, we are the Gartner peer insights ‘ c ustomer choice’ for DLP and Insider Risk Management.

We are looking for a successful Sr Sales Specialist who will be the primary sales interface to our customers and prospects in the Southern EMEA Region . Reporting to the EMEA Director of Information Security business unit, this role will work coll aboratively with the Proofpoint account management teams, to drive growth in a variety of Advanced Technologies suite of ‘Information Protection’ solutions such as Enterprise DLP, Endpoint DLP, CASB, Insider Threat Manag e ment , Browser Isolation, and DSPM amongst many other innovative solutions we have in the pipeline.

Based in Paris t he successful candidate will be expected to create a strategy based on the addressable market, align the ext ensive resources available to support that strategy (internal teams, channel, distribution), and work cross-functionally to deliver some of the most exciting and innovative solutions in the industry. This sales quota carrying role is vital to the success of the region and any candidate should be self-motivated and results oriented.

Responsibilities & Requirements
  • Having successfully sold data loss prevention or related technologies in the past will really help you.
  • Actively develop and pursue sales opp o rtunities for DLP transformation , secureGen AI and insider risk mitigation projects.
  • A mindset of owning the process, proactively driving opportunities for data security to complet ion.
  • Strategic Planning : Provide a long-term plan for the growth of the region which will guide all monthly and quarterly activities.
  • Collaborative: Work with key stakeholders within the account management teams to implement the strategic plan though an effective sales engagement process.
  • Financial Command: Provide actuate and ongoing financial forecasting that meets both short-term and long-term growth goals.
  • Customer Engagement: Work closely with customers to ensure all business and technical requirements are met . Work with existing customers in the region to generate awareness , create value , and position P roofpoint as the vendor of choice for securing their data .
  • Cultur al fit: Help support a culture of accountability and fun. This role will be a critical part of the EMEA-based Proofpoint team.
  • Effective channel engagement mindset driving scale and growth through indirect sales motions.
  • Successful track record of growing the French , Spanish and Italian enterprise market with leading technological and security solutions.
  • Fluent English and French required , any additional language is a significant advantage.
