Ampersand Therapy is hiring an Exceptional Education Teacher to support students in Paris, TN. You will develop IEPs, provide individualized instruction, and create inclusive learning environments in a therapist-run team.

You will work with a collaborative district and a supportive, local team, delivering instruction, progress monitoring, and written documentation throughout the school year. This W-2 role includes benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• TN certification for Special Education Teaching with Interventionist or Comprehensive Endorsement
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Special Education
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
• Provide specialized instruction across academic subjects
• Manage classroom behavior and create a structured, supportive environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Write progress reports and maintain compliant documentation
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies for diverse learning needs
• Incorporate technology and resources to enhance learning
