Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned embedded software engineering manager to own the V-model lifecycle for a space on-board computer. You will structure, harmonize and enforce software engineering practices, lead coordination of embedded software activities, and critically review interfaces to ensure reliable execution.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in managing embedded software projects, strong RTOS expertise, and a deep understanding of quality requirements across industrial domains.

• Proven experience in managing embedded software projects.
• Strong expertise in embedded software on RTOS.
• Excellent command of software engineering processes and practices.
• Excellent understanding of the V-model and incremental agile methods.

• Take ownership of the full V-model lifecycle of a space on-board computer.
• Structure, harmonize and enforce software engineering practices.
• Lead coordination of embedded software activities.
• Critically review system interfaces and inputs to ensure reliable execution.
• Contribute to defining software functions, interfaces and allocations.
• Control progress, quality and engineering performance using relevant metrics.
