Job summary

Notion is recruiting a Solutions Consultant to own the full customer journey from first meeting to renewal and expansion. You will design live workflow solutions with customers, perform discovery, and translate workflow designs into commercial outcomes, partnering across the sales and post-sale teams.

You will work at the intersection of AI, productivity, and enterprise software, owning multi-stakeholder engagements and helping customers adopt Notion at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own the full customer lifecycle for your book: new logos, expansion, and renewal with credits translated into consumption.
• Design and build workflow solutions live with customers; run discovery and co-build in Notion.
• Partner with BDRs on target account planning and outbound motion for your book.
• Navigate commercial sizing, proposal construction, procurement, legal, and security review to close deals with the right scope.
• Guide customers through early implementation with an adoption plan and handoff to Outcomes Architects for ongoing expansion.
• Partner with Outcomes Architects on onboarding, adoption plans, expansion strategies, and renewal execution.

About The Role

Notion is reimagining how enterprise software is sold and the Solutions Consultant is the cornerstone of that model. As a SC, you'll own the full customer journey: from first meeting through workflow design, commercial close, workflow implementation, expansion & renewal planning. You are the single owner of your accounts, accountable for ensuring what you sell actually gets realized. You'll build live in front of customers, translate workflow designs into commercial outcomes, and be a trusted partner with genuine continuity across the entire relationship. What You'll Achieve

• Own the full customer lifecycle-new logo, expansion, and renewal-as the single account owner for your book of business, with responsibility for ensuring credits sold translate into credits consumed
• Design and build workflow solutions live with customers: the discovery is the demo, not the slide deck-you'll run discovery, design current-to-future-state workflow architecture, and co-build in Notion with the customer
• Partner with BDRs on target account planning and co-own the outbound motion for your book, running direct outreach to priority stakeholders alongside BDR-sourced pipeline
• Navigate commercial sizing, proposal construction, procurement, legal, and security review to close deals with the right scope, credits, and implementation path
• Guide customers through early implementation with a clear adoption plan and handoff to Outcomes Architects for ongoing multi-workflow expansion
• Partner with Outcomes Architects (OA) on onboarding, adoption plans, expansion strategies, and renewal execution-owning the commercial arc while OAs drive day-to-day workflow adoption

Skills You'll Need to Bring

• 1-3 years of experience selling technical products to technical buyers
• Technical fluency and genuine comfort building live in software-you can demo, co-design, and troubleshoot in front of a customer without a specialist in the room
• Strong discovery and qualification instincts, with the ability to map customer workflows and translate them into commercial outcomes and adoption plans
• Experience running complex, multi-stakeholder interactions including procurement, legal, and security review cycles
• You can own the room - you operate with agency and urgency to bring new ideas and workflows to our customers and present simple ways to solve complex problems
• You're obsessed with AI, constantly building with the newest tools & learning new ways of working

Nice to Haves

• Full-cycle B2B software sales experience or solutions engineering experience with a consistent track record of exceeding quota across new logo acquisition and expansion motions
• Familiarity with usage-based or consumption-based pricing models and the ability to structure credit-based commercial proposals
• Prior experience selling to mid-market and enterprise accounts in productivity, collaboration, or workflow software
• Experience in a shared account ownership model, partnering with a post-sale or CS team as part of an integrated customer motion

Compensation

Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role's scope and complexity, and the candidate's experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. The estimated range for total on target earnings (including base salary and on target incentive pay) for this role is €144,000 - €156,000 per year.

A Note on AI

You don't need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirem
