Dataiku is seeking a Software Developer Engineer in Test (SDET) to design and code advanced automated test suites that exercise our applications at all levels. You will define testing plans and strategies, prioritize tests, collaborate with developers to deliver testable code, and improve our test infrastructure.

Ideal candidates bring significant automation experience (API/UI), strong collaboration, and proficiency in at least one OO language (Python, Java, C#, or C++).

• Strong collaboration skills with developers for a good testing strategy.
• Proficiency with at least one object‑oriented language (Python, Java, C#, C++).

Location: Onsite at Paris, London, Berlin, or Amsterdam, or remote from these countries.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers to ensure they deliver testable code.
• Improve existing test infrastructure and frameworks (virtual machines, containers, auto‑provisioning, UI testing).
• Mentor and help new QA team members.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in software test engineering, especially automation (API and/or UI testing).
• Strong collaboration skills with developers for a good testing strategy.
• Proficiency with at least one object‑oriented language (Python, Java, C#, C++).
• Ability to discuss choices before implementing them.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Basic knowledge of machine learning.
