Fairly Made® is seeking a Confirmed Fullstack Software Engineer to join the Sourcing Squad. You will design and implement features across the stack, with a strong backend focus on the brand and supplier data collection system that feeds our traceability engine.

You will maintain and improve existing features, ensure reliability through testing, and contribute to architectural discussions. A proactive, communicative engineer with interest in sustainability will thrive here.

Qualifications

  • Strong web development across the stack, front-to-back, with architectural awareness.
  • First meaningful experience as a software engineer with ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Produce clean, well-tested code with a focus on quality and reliability.
  • Active interest in our domain (traceability, sustainability) and proactive communication with stakeholders.
  • Daily use of AI tooling and staying updated on AI/engineering trends.

Responsabilités

  • Design and develop features across the stack with a backend focus for the data collection system feeding the traceability engine.
  • Maintain and improve existing features based on client and internal feedback with solid testing practices.
  • Contribute to shaping the technical architecture and participate in architectural discussions.
  • Shape our use of AI in engineering and keep up with latest AI trends.

Your mission

As a Confirmed Fullstack Software Engineer, in the Sourcing Squad, under the management of Yassine (Tech Lead), your missions will be:

  • Design and develop features across the stack, with a strong back-end focus, notably on our brand and supplier data collection system feeding our traceability engine
  • — the core of Fairly Made’s business.
  • Maintain and improve existing features based on client and internal feedback, ensuring reliability through solid development and testing practices (clean code, unit/integration tests, code reviews).
  • Contribute to improving our technical architecture and take part in architectural discussions, tech challenges, and brainstorming sessions to continually enhance code and product quality.
  • Take part in shaping our use of AI in engineering practices, and stay abreast of the latest trends in software development and AI through ongoing technological watch.
What we need
  • Strong web development skills across the stack (front, back, architecture); comfortable with Clean Architecture and DDD concepts.
  • Daily, hands-on usage of AI tools (e.g Claude, Cursor), with genuine technical watch on AI Innovation.
  • A first meaningful experience as a software engineer, able to solve problems with minimal supervision.
  • Produces clean, well-tested code, with a strong focus on code quality.
  • Proactive problem-solver who communicates clearly, both orally and in writing, with different stakeholders.
  • Genuine interest in our business (traceability, sustainability) and curiosity to understand our domain, aligned with Fairly Made’s values (bienveillance, transparence, rigueur).
  • Nice to have: solid experience with TypeScript/NestJS/Vue.js.
  • Fast-growing scale-up: x3 sales growth in 1 year / team expanded from 3 to 60 people in 3 years / €5m fund-raising in 2022 and international expansion;
