Jack & Jill in Paris, France, is seeking a Software Engineer, Backend (Rust) to join an elite engineering team as an early member building a high-velocity social product. You will develop high-performance backend systems in Rust, managing server-side infrastructure and cross-platform logic shared between iOS and Android.

This role rewards technical craftsmanship and rapid mistake-led learning, with relocation support, visa sponsorship, and generous vacation and shutdown periods to recharge.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Rust or low-level languages with a passion for high-performance code.
• Experience operating distributed systems in production using technologies such as Redpanda, Kafka, ScyllaDB or Cassandra.
