Job summary

Animaj, a leader in global kids' animation, is seeking a highly skilled full stack developer to join the Engineering team and drive AI-enabled workflows.

You will design and build data pipelines, a YouTube publishing automation app, and a custom media asset management system, reporting to the CTO and collaborating with a fast-moving team to push the boundaries of generative AI in animation. This role requires strong problem-solving, API design skills, and a security-conscious mindset.

Animaj leads the global media industry by creating and delivering premium 3D animation to families worldwide. Traditional animation, rooted in outdated processes since the early ‘90s, lags behind the fast-paced demands of today’s digital economy.

Our innovation addresses the time-intensive nature of traditional animation, where each second can take hours or a week to produce.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced full stack developer to join our dynamic Engineering team.

You’ll be instrumental in pioneering AI solutions that will be implemented in our internal workflows.

You will report to the CTO and will be part of an ambitious team pushing the boundaries of the Kids’ animation industry through innovation in generative AI applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain the data pipelines feeding our Audience Intelligence Platform, used to detect and model trends in the kids’ media ecosystem on YouTube and to inform creative and editorial decisions

• Design, develop and maintain our YouTube publishing automation application, used to scale publishing of our videos to our hundreds of YouTube channels

• Design, develop and maintain our custom media asset management system, and all its related pipelines and automations

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a software engineer in fast-paced and technically demanding environment

• Outstanding problem solving skills

• Hacker mindset (test often, ship often, be pragmatic), not afraid to dig into new areas that you’re not familiar with

• Experience with LLMs and agentic workflows is a plus

• Excellent API design skills

• Interest for application and cloud security best practices
