IDEMIA Public Security is seeking a software developer to join a small team focused on reusable libraries across IDEMIA’s product portfolio. You will design, implement and optimize features in C/C++, contribute to cross-platform components, and work with research and product teams to bring new technologies into IDEMIA's solutions.

The role is based in Osny, France, offering a permanent position with opportunities to work on performance-critical software and advanced algorithms.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of software development experience (internships/apprenticeships accepted).
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.

Responsabilités

• Analyze requirements from product teams to design technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and test new features in C within reusable software components and libraries.
• Maintain and enhance existing components by fixing bugs and improving algorithms.
• Optimize code performance, memory usage, and workflows to ensure high-quality and efficient software.
• Develop cross-platform software components for Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, iOS, cloud, and embedded environments.
• Collaborate closely with research teams and product teams to integrate new technologies into IDEMIA's solutions.

Description du poste

You will join IDEMIA's URT (Research and Technology Unit). More specifically, you will become part of a team of 2 to 5 developers responsible for developing reusable software libraries used across IDEMIA's product portfolio. You will work closely with both Research and Product teams in a highly technical environment focused on performance, quality, and innovation.

This is a permanent position, and you will be based in Osny, France.

• Analyze requirements from product teams to design appropriate technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and test new features in C within reusable software components and libraries.
• Maintain and enhance existing components by fixing bugs and improving algorithms.
• Optimize code performance, memory (RAM) usage, and workflows to ensure high-quality and efficient software.
• Develop cross-platform software components for Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, iOS, cloud, and embedded environments.
• Collaborate closely with research teams and product teams to integrate new technologies into IDEMIA's solutions.

Education & Experience

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Engineering School or University).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Software Development (internships/apprenticeships considered). Both junior and experienced developers are welcome to apply.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in C/C++ and good Python skills
• Experience with Android/iOS development
• Windows and Linux environments, Bash scripting
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and multithreading
• Basic knowledge of deep learning concepts and mathematics

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Deep learning frameworks
• SIMD, CUDA, x86/ARM assembly
• C# or Java
• Git/SVN, Docker
• Static/dynamic analysis tools (Valgrind, Clang Sanitizers, Coverity, NexusIQ)
• Jenkins or other automation tools

Soft Skills
