The Beckman Coulter Diagnostics Software Architect is responsible for designing and overseeing the development of innovative and secure software systems that meet our customers' needs for reliability, performance, scalability and interoperability, while respecting regulations and standards. This position is part of the Research and Development team located in Arras. This position is hybrid (you can work part of your time at the company's premises and part of your time at home). At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Design scalable software systems for the healthcare field
• Guarantee the security and confidentiality of sensitive health data, while complying with regulations such as HIPAA or GDPR.
• Design solutions that integrate easily into the laboratory environment and allow data exchange with other systems.
• Optimize system performance and reliability for efficient data processing and rapid response time.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary and international teams, provide technical guidance and ensure the successful implementation of software solutions.

The essential requirements for the position are as follows:

• Minimum 10 years of experience and minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Expertise in C++/C# programming languages, web technologies like Angular or React)
• Expertise in the principles of architectures in different types of environment (on premise, cloud, hybrid)
• Strong security skills: Ability to propose architectures that take security principles into account from the initial phases
• Ability to resolve problems: Ability to analyze complex problems and to propose innovative solutions.
• Communication skills: Effective communication with stakeholders, developers and other team members.
• Leadership qualities: Proven experience in guiding teams towards new architectural concepts.
• Fluent English and French

It would be an advantage if you also had prior experience in:

• Creating solutions in a regulated industry, with delivery of new versions on a regular basis.
• The production of solutions used by several thousand users
• Use of machine learning or generative AI principles to facilitate development or to provide innovative solutions for our clients.
