Softgoods Product Engine Portfolio Lead (F/H)

The Softgoods Product Engine Portfolio Lead role serves as a strategic partner to the Chief Product Officer (CPO) and the broader leadership team, ensuring that the Softgoods Product Engine (PE) runs with clarity, focus, and efficiency.

Acting as an extension of leadership, you will bridge strategy and execution: translating long-term vision into actionable plans, driving cross-functional alignment, and ensuring operational excellence across the product lifecycle (from concept to retail introduction).

You will report directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO).

Strategic Partner to the Chief Product Officer
  • Act as a trusted advisor, helping refine priorities and shape the Softgoods Product strategy.
  • Manage the flow of information to and from the CPO, ensuring focus on what matters most.
  • Serve as liaison with internal and external stakeholders, building and maintaining strong relationships.
Strategic Planning and Execution for the Softgoods Product Engine
  • Assist in developing and implementing the Long-Term Strategic Plan (LTSP), within the Softgoods Product Engine scope.
  • Translate the LTSP into strategic initiatives for the Softgoods Product Engine with clear goals, milestones, and execution plans.
  • Align budgets and resources in partnership with Finance/Controlling.
  • Lead and monitor cross-functional initiatives/projects that advance long-term objectives.
Cross-Functional Alignment & Communication
  • Ensure alignment and coordination across Product Development, Creative, Merchandising, Marketing and Supply Chain.
  • Facilitate alignment sessions, ensuring decisions are documented and acted upon.
  • Maintain consistent messaging across functions and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain networks to surface insights, opportunities, and risks.
Operational Excellence & Efficiency
  • Streamline processes to ensure the Product Engine runs smoothly from concept to launch.
  • Drive improvements that remove bottlenecks and strengthen collaboration.
  • Manage leadership cadences (agendas, preparation, follow-up) to drive focus and maximize impact.
Qualifications
  • Needed Work Experience:
    • 10+ years in product strategy, operations, or cross-functional leadership roles.
    • Experience managing complex multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Education: Master’s degree in Strategy, Management, Engineering, Economics, or equivalent.
  • Foreign Language(s): Fluent in French & English.
  • Needed Skills:
    • Proven ability to translate strategic vision into executional outcomes.
    • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
    • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills.
    • Discretion, sound judgment, and ability to act as trusted partner to senior leadership.
