Social Media Manager ¦ La Vallée Village ¦ Fixed Term Contract / Full time

The Social Media Manager for La Vallée Village is responsible for managing owned social media platforms in alignment with Value Retail business strategy and growth objectives. Social Media is a strategic part of our 360° digital media approach.

As Social Media Manager, you have a creative eye, are fluent in French fashion retail, and know how to deal with influencers and craft social‑first storytelling that resonates across platforms. This is a role for someone who can work to produce first‑class content and ensure its high quality.

We are looking for someone hands‑on, proactive, real‑time in social and with a hint of analytic thinking.

What you will be doing

The key responsibilities of this role will include some or all of the following.

SOCIAL MEDIA
  • Oversee French platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and Pinterest, including content planning, creation, publishing and scheduling.
  • Drive Chinese Social platforms, with the help of an Asia Media Coordinator, on WeChat, Weibo and LittleRedBook.
  • Implement social media strategy across these platforms to deepen our community engagement.
  • Launch and manage organic social campaigns, supporting digital marketing efforts, and sourcing product needs for content.
  • Manage UGC agency and community management agencies.
  • Monitor key metrics and share performance learnings.
  • Activate paid boost on top‑performing organic content.
  • Align content with marketing and retail calendars and cultural relevance moments.
  • Manage one Social Coordinator expert of Chinese platforms.
SOCIAL CONTENT
  • Responsible for local content creation, creative translation, adaptation of central assets, and copy/language translations for social.
  • Execute social media campaigns, brief content stakeholders internally (graphic designers) and externally (social content agency), and continuously optimize performance.
  • Ensure content is in line with La Vallée Village brand positioning and tone of voice.
  • Work closely with the central team to co‑develop and manage content, align on guidelines and share best practices.
MODERATION
  • Follow and monitor moderation and guest demand on social media channels with the support of our community management agencies.
  • Weekly reporting to understand consumer behaviour and fine‑tune messaging.
INFLUENCE
  • Identify and activate influencers who naturally embody our brand and values.
  • Develop quarterly influencer plans in line with business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with the PR Director and PR central to guarantee consistency and excellence in brand storytelling.
  • Drive Chinese influencer plans.
  • Manage budget, project management, deadlines and timings.
  • Track performances, visibility and impact of each activation to fine‑tune influence strategy.
