Europcar Mobility Group is seeking a SOC Engineer to monitor and defend digital assets across cloud, on-prem, and applications in a hybrid tech landscape. You will build detections, tune SIEM/SOAR, and conduct investigations while supporting threat hunting and remediation efforts aligned with security policies.

Qualifications

3-8 years in SOC, security operations, detection engineering, incident response, or cyber defense roles.
Hands-on experience with Splunk SIEM, SOAR tools, EDR/XDR, and cloud logging.
Understanding of cloud security (AWS/GCP), API security, microservices architecture.

Responsabilités

Develop and maintain detection rules, dashboards, alerts, correlation logic, and analytics within Splunk and cloud-native tools.
Configure, monitor and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices and services such as EDR, DLP or CASB.
Perform L3 investigation of security alerts, including anomalous authentication events and API misuse; execute remediation with IT teams.
Conduct proactive threat hunts using log patterns and threat intel feeds to improve visibility.
Maintain SOC runbooks and response playbooks; communicate threats and improve procedures.
