SpaceX invites exceptionally talented students to join summer 2027 silicon engineering internships/co-ops. You will work with mentors across systems, firmware, design, and ASIC implementation on in-house silicon deployed in space, gaining hands-on experience in chip design and development.

Internships span multiple teams and locations, with opportunities for networking, professional training, and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or graduate program.
• 3+ months of software development, hardware engineering, or chip design experience.
• Applicant must be a U.S. citizen/national, permanent resident, or similar eligible status.

Responsabilités

• Work with mentors across cross-disciplinary silicon teams.
• Contribute to silicon hardware development and validation.
• Engage in design, timing, and verification tasks as part of project work.
• Participate in company events and professional development activities.
