SpaceX is seeking extraordinary students for a Spring 2027 Silicon Engineering Internship/Co-op. You will work closely with mentors and cross-disciplinary teams on our custom in-house silicon and hardware deployed on-orbit, in space.

Internships span multiple sites with strong emphasis on collaboration and learning. Applicants should be enrolled in a bachelor’s or graduate program and have 3+ months of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or graduate program.
• 3+ months of software development, hardware engineering, or chip design/development experience.
• Applicant must be a U.S. citizen/national, permanent resident, refugee or asylee.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with silicon engineering teams across systems, firmware, architecture, design, validation and ASIC implementation.
• Contribute to development of silicon and hardware deployed in space.
• Work closely with mentors to apply knowledge to real-world space-mission hardware.
• Participate in social and professional events with interns and employees.
