Job summary

SentinelOne is seeking a Staff Windows Low Level C++ Engineer for its Endpoint security platform. The role focuses on designing and developing advanced security features across user‑mode and kernel‑mode Windows environments, including anti‑tampering protections, network sensors, and agent infrastructure.

You will tackle performance challenges at massive scale and collaborate with distributed teams to safeguard millions of devices.

Qualifications

• Experience in low-level C++ programming for Windows platforms.
• Strong understanding of Windows OS design and internals.
• Experience with kernel-mode development or drivers is a plus.
• Proficient debugging and profiling of complex systems at scale.
• Background in security-focused development, malware analysis, or reversing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop security features for SentinelOne’s Windows endpoint protection, in user- and kernel-mode.
• Build and optimize components like anti-tampering protections, network sensors, and agent infrastructure.
• Address performance and stability challenges in a large-scale endpoint security product.
• Research Windows internals and collaborate with distributed engineering teams to deliver high-impact capabilities.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing within Platform teams and the broader Windows group.
