Job summary

MANITOU Group is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to plan, direct and coordinate manufacturing processes at our Madison, SD plant. You will lead manufacturing projects, oversee production equipment, and improve processes to meet specifications and schedules.

The role emphasizes designing tools, fixtures, and work centers while driving efficiency and cost effectiveness. A BS in Engineering is required, with 3+ years as a manufacturing engineer and strong CAD skills.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or manufacturing.
• Three to five years of fabrication and welding experience.
• Three years of experience as a manufacturing engineer.
• Experience with process development, tooling design, fixturing, and workstation layout.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods.
• Determine processes and design/build fixtures for efficient manufacturing.
• Establish BOMs, routings, machine burdens, and new work centers.
