A leading hospitality group is seeking a Technical and QHSE Director to oversee the technical supervision and operational compliance of the Orient Express Sailing Yachts fleet. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Merchant Marine or Naval Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in fleet management. This role involves ensuring safety, technical performance, and environmental compliance while leading innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years experience in technical fleet management, QHSE leadership, and ship management supervision.
• Previous experience within a shipping company or ship management organization is highly valued.

Responsabilités

• Monitor vessel availability, performance, and technical compliance.
• Ensure implementation of the Safety Management System.
• Define KPIs and performance objectives of the ship management contract.
• Identify new technologies enhancing performance.

Connaissances

Strong command of international and French maritime regulations

Proven experience in fleet technical management

Ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects

Fluent in English

Leadership and innovative mindset

Formation

Degree in Merchant Marine or Naval Engineering
